Ny Casino Near Syracuse Announced by Oneida Indian Nation to Compete With Del Lago

An upstate New York casino is defined to be developed by the Oneida Indian Nation near Syracuse, whilst the tribe announced this week it’ll spend as much as $50 million on building a 65,000 square foot gambling venue that will employ 200 people on a permanent foundation.

Named the purpose Put Casino, the resort are located in Bridgeport, a town that is small edges Oneida Lake. The casino is going to be just a short 15-mile drive from Syracuse, the fifth most populated city in the Empire State with approximately 150,000 residents.
The Oneida Nation says the facility will have 500 slot machines and 20 table games, as well as two fast-service casual restaurants in a press release. The floor shall be smoke-free, and liquor will be offered. There are no plans to create a hotel.
The Native American group is building aim Place on its very own sovereign land, so no approval through the state or federal government is required for construction to commence.
The Oneida Nation says construction will start month that is next and the casino is scheduled to open in the spring of 2018.
